They were following me for a couple of months, creeping all around the place. I couldn’t sleep (which is true). Everyday (almost) I was like a zombie, I just wanted to draw thise little friends. And now you just imagine, these thingees in some underground corridors and there are another little creatures who run back and forth trying to do something … That sort of a game. Maybe one day I’m going to use them.

And it happened again! I made these characters sketches for an animated series about futuristic mutation of soccer (something with metal … I think I must not tell you guys yet what exactly is the titel of it). Whatever, here come some characters.

Guten Tag, we’re in Berlin of the 20ies. Just another reality. A special force is hunting ghosts and demons … oh yeah, I would play that one. I always was fascinated of the style of these years. I’d love to know though, did the people know that they were looking good that way? At least some of them? I don’t think so. And they forgot it too – just look what people wear, when they don’t think about trying to be stylish. Back in the day guys just had their suits, some more then only this, but still. And somehow it worked. But it’s gone … The time is different now and I made these designs as an hommage. Sort of …

One nice day I got a script of a horror story and I wanted to give a try on it. Honestly, I’m not very comfortable with such sort of stories. When I just imagine – I’m sitting here drawing some scenes full of blood and cut-off heads all around the place as my 6 years old child apears anxious to see what daddy’s doing… hmm. Anyway, I tried some versions of the same double-page and this case was closed. And you can check out the drawings.

A really good director in London – Matthias Hoene – (cheers man!) asked me to draw two storyboards for two GMC SUVs. You never get enough time for such things, but I have my CINTIQ and it worked. Like this.
