This year we started producing Y, the redesigned magazine for the Bundeswehr – german armed forces. I draw a lot for the guys but one column is the one I have to illustrate everytime, it’s “ISSO”, means “it’s just like that” but like after a couple of beers. So more like “s’jussliktha”… It’s about things which are just like they are in the military. After 3 issues I developed another style, something more funny then the stuff I started with. Here it is.

Just like the caracters and props for that underground corridor game these illustrations were ment for that too. The story we wanted to use was the King Frog, kind of pimped-up though. After all that was done I got the idea to make a book out of thes drawings (something what daddies would love too, hehe) … I’m working on it.

They were following me for a couple of months, creeping all around the place. I couldn’t sleep (which is true). Everyday (almost) I was like a zombie, I just wanted to draw thise little friends.  And now you just imagine, these thingees in some underground corridors and there are another little creatures who run back and forth trying to do something … That sort of a game.  Maybe one day I’m going to use them.

And it happened again! I made these characters sketches for an animated series about futuristic mutation of soccer (something with metal … I think I must not tell you guys yet what exactly is the titel of it). Whatever, here come some characters.

Onece again and maybe the last time ever – a funny 2d animated series Little Molly Monster. Ted Sieger, the creator of this and many more nice cartoons and books, asked me to help him with that. I made some model sheets for most of the main caracters and some props too. Lots of posing work.

Guten Tag, we’re in Berlin of the 20ies. Just another reality. A special force is hunting ghosts and demons … oh yeah, I would play that one. I always was fascinated of the style of these years. I’d love to know though, did the people know that they were looking good that way? At least some of them? I don’t think so. And they forgot it too – just look what people wear, when they don’t think about trying to be stylish. Back in the day guys just had their suits, some more then only this, but still. And somehow it worked. But it’s gone … The time is different now and I made these designs as an hommage. Sort of …
